easyJet flight 4392 to Milan
We're landing soon!We woke up extremely late today so there were no more apricot jam doughnuts left for breakfast. :(
After checking out, we headed down Prague's winding cobbled streets for the last time.
We made a wrong turn before finding our way to the Old Town Square.
It was half-past eleven so we passed the Astronomical Clock and made a short stop at the Church of St. Nicholas, admiring its wall and ceiling frescoes and the requisite church organ.

Then we had a short stroll along Prague's "Parisian" street (lined with high-end stores like Cartier and Prada) and glimpsed the giant red metronome on Letná Park, erected at the spot formerly occupied by a giant stone statue of Lenin (which was blown up).

Finally we joined the large crowd under the Astronomical Clock waiting for the noon display.
Once again the skeleton rang the bell and tipped its hourglass, whilst the 12 Apostles paraded in front of the windows. Then the windows closed once more and the crowd began to leave.

We found our way back to the pension and realised we had time to spare. So we had an early lunch at a restaurant around the corner, then caught our hired transport to Prague's Ruzyně Airport.
